Midlife Awakening: Your Journey Starts Now

There comes a time in midlife when the familiar rhythms begin to fade. The house is quieter. The career that once defined you no longer fills your soul. The kids are grown—or maybe life threw you a curveball through loss, illness, or a change you never expected. And now, you find yourself asking, Who am I now? What am I meant to do next?

If that sounds like your heart’s whisper, take heart—you’re not alone.
This isn’t the end of your story. It’s the beginning of a powerful new chapter.
Let’s walk it together—with faith, grace, and courage. Your midlife awakening starts now. It’s time to rediscover your passion, reclaim your purpose, and reconnect with the life God is calling you to live.

You’re not alone. I’ve been there, too.

After years juggling a demanding wealth management career, raising my family, and navigating health challenges, I found myself asking those very same questions. That season of uncertainty became the soil for something new to grow—a deeper purpose rooted in faith, connection, and rediscovery.

That’s where Connect Home Life began. And now, I’m creating something even more meaningful: a midlife membership community designed for those ready to walk into this new season with clarity and courage.

This Isn’t Just a Program—It’s a Journey Together

Whether you’re an empty nester, navigating job loss, seeking a slower pace, or yearning to reconnect with your faith and yourself, this space is for you.

This isn’t about becoming someone else. It’s about returning to who God created you to be.

And I’d Love for You to Help Me Build It

I’m inviting a group of founding members—who believe in the power of community and shared growth—to help shape this movement from the ground up. You’ll get early access to content, a voice in its design, and the opportunity to co-create a space that offers support, encouragement, and purpose.

Inside this membership, you’ll find:

  • Faith practices that anchor and restore

  • New rhythms of self-care and creativity

  • Real conversations and gentle mentoring

  • Local and virtual gatherings

  • Tools for joy, legacy, and lasting connection

If you’ve been feeling stuck, searching, or sensing that this season holds more than the world tells you, you’re right.
You’re not too late. You haven’t missed it. There is more.

📩 If your heart stirred while reading this, please message me the word “Founding” or share your email below.
Let’s build something beautiful together—for His glory and for your good.

Because midlife isn’t a crisis.
It’s a calling.

Jo Wilhelm

Jo Wilhelm, founder of Connect Home Life and retired wealth management professional, understands the bittersweet mix of grief and freedom that follows life after raising children.

After stepping away from her financial career due to health challenges, she devoted herself fully to family life. When her children moved out, and the house grew quiet, she faced the identity shift many empty nest moms experience:

  •  Who am I beyond parenting?

  • What is my purpose in this next season?

  • How do I realign my daily life with God's direction?

Her children later married and built lives of their own, but the transition began long before wedding celebrations. The empty nest season arrived in stages — and with it came both gratitude and grief.

Parenting roles shifted. Marriage rhythms adjusted. Faith deepened in unexpected ways.

Today, Jo equips Christian empty nesters with faith-based digital resources, Biblical encouragement, and personal mentoring designed to help them rediscover identity, reignite passion, and realign their lives with God's calling.

Her work centers on helping empty nesters rediscover purpose after the kids leave home — not by starting over, but by stepping forward with intention. Throughout Connect Home Life, Jo shares practical encouragement and honest reflections from her own empty nest journey to help others navigate this season with faith and confidence.
